Hello and welcome back to Thursday Tasters. It has been one seriously busy week here. We
took the J’s camping for the long weekend and then it has been non stop promo
all the way for my latest release, Behind The Makeup.
So I thought it was only fair that this week I give
you a little snippet from this book.
“Let me,” he said, unsure of
the right words. He wanted to tell her how much she meant to him, but at the
same time he didn’t want to scare her away. Beth looked directly into his eyes.
She held her stare for a moment more, before her body relaxed underneath him
and she stopped trying to roll him over onto his back. Gareth leaned over her
and kissed down her neck, his hands working her T-shirt free from the waist
line of her jeans. He pulled the top up her body, and his hand glided over her
silky smooth skin and up to the mound of her breast.
Gareth prised his fingers
between the cotton fabric and her flesh, as his hands cupped her fullness and
he stroked her proud nipple with his thumb. She took a sharp intake of breath
and arched her back off the bed. He could see the goose bumps prickle on her
arm as he massaged her breast, revelling in the way her body responded to his
touch. With a keen mind to have her naked, he stripped her of her clothes
completely, discarding them on the floor, along with his own.
He lay down on his side and
pulled Beth against him, so they were chest to chest. Her hand slid up and down
his back, her nails applying pressure and sent sizzling heat straight to his
crotch. Beth wriggled against him, teasing him. Before she could take any
control, he pulled back and shuffled down the bed so he was eye level with her
belly button. He took in a deep breath, sealed his lips against her skin and
blew out.
The sound of her laughter
rang through his ears. She pulled her knees up instinctively and it connected
with his chin.

I love it. I'm going to have to buy the book to see how this ends. Great taster
ReplyDeleteWow thank you so much. So glad you enjoyed it xxx
DeleteInteresting excerpt. It isn't obvious where it fits into the story, which is intriguing.
ReplyDeleteOups, that sounds painful, those things have to happen all the time don't they. It goes all sexy and turn a bit awkward. Well done!
