Tantalizing Tuesday - Behind The Make-up

Hello again and welcome back to Tantalizing Tuesdays. I am really excited about this weeks tease, because it actually features in my current WIP.  I saw this picture and it inspired the next part of my story, so I thought I would share it with you. 

“Do you trust me Beth?” Gareth asked as he folded the red scarf over, and then over again. Beth’s forehead furrowed and Gareth sensed she was a little apprehensive. Still he stood toe to toe, his mouth inches away from hers.

“Yes,” She whispered. He saw the muscles in her throat move up and then down as she swallowed. He knew she was nervous. Gareth placed the scarf over her eyes and then tied it behind her head. He took a step back to observe her for a few moments. She stood tall. Her back was straight and her chin raised slightly as if she was tuning in to other senses, waiting for what he would do next. In that one moment, Gareth knew he would never let her go. Now she was his, and he was going to show her.

Gareth stepped closer to Beth, her warm breath intermittently grazed his cheek. He kissed the back of her neck, just below the ear. Her head rolled to the side as if to offer him more flesh to tease with his teeth. He obliged and placed feather light kisses down the side of her neck, enjoying how her breath hitched.
