What a November...

Wow what a month!!!

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am right now.  Well I could and I will, but firstly let me explain.

Recently one of the ladies from an online critique group that I belong to (also soon to be Published Author) Cherie Nicholls, gave us a challenge to write an anthology.  This was all for fun but a publisher got wind of what we did and asked for the stories to be submitted, so…

Cutting a long story short, they have accepted the books and our Anthology is going to be published in 2012!!!  Eeeekkk!!! Now you can understand my excitement right?  I am literally jumping up and down one minute, then pinching myself the next, going right back to a ‘what if they don’t like it?’ then back to jumping up and down again!  But at the same time I don’t want it to stop.

Then one of the other ladies Kiru (also a published Author) signed herself up to do the Nano challenge again this year.  I agreed to do this with her without actually know what I was doing as many of the other members of the group are.  So now I have committed myself to writing a 50K Novel in 30 days… I know glutton for punishment!  I worked it out to 1, 666.666 words per day.  Yes well, I’m sure I’ll get there lol.  The support and encouragement of the group is always there and I feel honoured to be a part of it.

On top of that I have to edit the Anthology so it is ready to be sent off to the publishers for 30^th November :o) Yeah, so a very busy exciting month!
