Sexy Snippets - More Alana
Hello again. Sorry it's been a while, but I have finally managed to sort out my laptop. *does the happy dance*
Since the last time I was on here, I have now finished Alana. *another happy dance* This is such a big moment for me because this is my first manuscript that has slowly been written over a period of two years. Not a constant write for two years, as I have written other stuff in between, but two years, almost to the day.
So I feel it only fair that this weeks snippets is taken from Alana.
With a small shuffle forward, and a push with his feet, Nick was traveling forward through the air, with Alana held tightly in his arms. As gravity started to take hold and pull them down, Nick tried to shift his body underneath Alana. With the added weight of Alana, they fell faster than he anticipated. He pulled his elbow, which cradled Alana’s head, in towards his chest, then used his shoulder to break the fall. A sharp shooting pain went up to his neck as his shoulder made contact with the mattress and he rolled onto his back to help take the rest of the impact. He knew he had landed awkward and damaged his shoulder, but that didn’t matter right now.
Nick pulled the sheet from Alana’s face. She wasn’t breathing.
Well I hope you liked the snippet, please leave a comment and don't forget to pop by all the other authors taking part in this weeks sexy snippets.

Hello, so sorry to have missed a few posts this last week, my laptop is very poorly.
It was revived recently with a new heart, but fear the problem has caused other issues. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, as trying to blog post from a mobile phone is not easy at all!
I will keep you updated and hopefully will return to bloging very soon.

Flash Fiction Friday - Moonlight
Yay, it's finaly Friday! Is it me or has this week taken soooo long to end? Anyway I am back with another Flash Fiction Friday, and as always, I am supposed to stick to 100 words.
This is the picture we are all working on:
That's a pretty hot picture right? So you know what is going to follow right? You have been warned!

The fine
mist spray droplets were illuminated by the moons rays, as it covered our
bodies with a welcoming coolness. Our breath was short, shallow and desperate
as we began our climaxed. “Oh god, yes, that’s it,” I cried as hot blood pumped
right to my core. I tightened around his length and he pushed hard and fast
sending me right over the edge. I milked him for every drop he offered and then
slowly leaned up and back against his chest. Cheek to cheek, he massaged my
breasts and I closed my eyes as he feather kissed my lips.
I would also like to add that I have managed to hit the 100 word mark exactly. * feeling chuffed*
If you like what you have read, hop on over to all the other blogs and Authors taking part.
I'll be back on Sunday for my Sexy Snippets, but until then, take care.

Raven McAllan Take Over
Hello, hope you are well.
Today I have a very special guest, Raven McAllan and she is here to celebrate her 2nd Birthday as an Author.
So to get this party started, I thought I'd bring a little cake, but you can't have a piece until you sing:
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to Raven,
Happy birthday to you.
So if you're all comfy, and ready, I'll hand you all over to the lovely Raven.

This time two
years ago I was a nervous shivering excited
wreck. I was almost a published author.
Here I am two
years on and in the same state—or very nearly.
If you'd've told
me then, that now I’d still be writing, still being published and have over
fifty stories out there with my name on them, I'd probably asked you where you
got the magic mushrooms from.
However here I
am, and yes I have and oh how fabulous it is.
Around three
years ago, I was away from work, bored, sore and wondering what on earth I could
do other than read. Don't get me wrong, I love reading, but I was rapidly
running out of books.
Then someone
suggested I went onto Facebook, and lo and behold (sorry dramatic or what?)I
discovered a writing competition, at which I hasten to add I was rubbish. But
through it I met a lot of other wannabe authors and then, became part of my
critique group UCW.
The rest as they
say, is history.
When I started I
had no idea how I wrote, or even if I could. Let alone what. I've been oh so
fortunate that my publisher have let me try my voice out in more than one way.
Even though I
started off writing Regency, which I love, I had to try writing contemporary
romance as well. And paranormal, m/m, menage, YA—well you get the idea? I
needed to know what I'm capable off. I still do for that fact.
There's nothing
like the thrill of having a character shout in my ear and say write me, get on
with it. So I do.
I've learned the
hard way (I'm a member of the lone star club) that not everyone will like what
I write or the way I do it. But thankfully that others will and do. Whichever,
any comment means someone has read one of my books. The one I cherish most, is
a third hand heard (but confirmed by the speaker only last week almost eighteen
months on) that, "have you heard? Raven writes, and her books are disgusting." To which my
answer was "Books plural? Then she's read them all?"
To celebrate my
birthday, I'm dotting all over the place for a couple of weeks. For each blog
I'm on (and sorry no list you'll just have to keep your eyes open) I'm offering
a mini swag bag plus an Ebook, for one person who answers my question. As well
I'll pick one commenter at random form all the comments overall and send one of
my print books (winners choice)
So what shall I
ask? I'm going to be cruel and ask two questions. How did I get my pen name?
Where is your favourite place to read?
Now the lovely
JP was kind enough to let me hijack her blog. I've given her cake and candies
while we chat. That's the joy of knowing such awesome people. We chat and she,
well I was going to day just lets us, but hey, she's made the coffee, and got
me gluten free muffins. Isn't it good to be able to make so many friends and
know whatever time of the day or night, you can pop onto someone's blog or onto
Facebook and find someone to talk to.
The only down side is when I should be writing. See JP is grinning at me
now. But well sometimes coffee and chat and birthday parties are just needed
aren't they?
However on that
note, Maybe I'd best get back to my sexy Regency Dom, before he throws a Dom-disciplinary
at me. (And in Regency times they were somewhat creative)

Happy Reading,
Love R xx
Thank you so much for stopping by Raven, and I hope you guys enjoyed your cake.
That's all for today, but Join me again on Friday for our Flash Fiction Friday. Until then, take care.

Tantalising Tuesday - Kissing in the Rain
Hello and welcome back to Tantalising Tuesday.
As you know I am supposed to pick a picture and write 200 words relating to it. Well I seriously failed this week. Not only did I have to rely on a good friend Doris to provide yet another picture, I ended up getting so lost in the picture, and what they two characters were telling me, that my word count is over 500. Now this completely goes against the whole exercise, but I just couldn't help it. Here is the picture:
The picture itself was taken from Pinterest. How romantic is that! Now you understand why I had sooooooo much trouble keeping it short. The picture itself is amazing, it speaks so many words. Any way, here is my tease for today. I hope you like it.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think, I love reading them. Also don't forget to stop by all the other Authors taking part this week at:

His heart pounded in his chest as he ran
after her. The heavy rain obscured his vision, but he ran through it anyway. He
could just see the back of her black dress through the haze. Their bare feet
slapped on the floor as they splashed through the puddles. John knew he had
been way out of line the other day. Only today, when he came to apologise, did
he see just how deep his words had cut. By God he was sorry. But Marie bolted.
She shouted that she didn’t want to see him and then she ran.
Here is was, chasing her on the roof top of
the apartment building. She reached the wall and put both hands down on it, her
torso bent over and her shoulders shaking violently. He could tell she was
still crying. He slowed his pace.
“Look at me Marie,” he shouted, but she
didn’t turn. “For God sake Marie look at me, I’m trying to tell you that I love
you.”
She straightened at his words and slowly
began to turn. He knew she was the one for him, now at the fear of losing her, he
was ready to admit it. He kept taking slow steps towards her until he was about
a foot away.
“I love you, I fucked up and I’m sorry, I’m
so sorry.”
“I forgive you John, I said it doesn’t
matter, just go, leave me alone.”
He nearly gave in and did as she asked, but
something in his gut told him to stand fast and try harder. She was worth it.
“I can’t, Marie. Somewhere in the middle of
all of this I fell in love with you. I tried to deny it and look where it’s got
me.”
She looked at him with her forehead
furrowed. John knew she didn’t follow what he meant, so he elaborated.
“Here, Marie, running in the rain, right
back to you. I don’t want to run any more, Marie. Not from you. Not from us.”
“There is no us John, you made that
perfectly clear,” she snapped back, and John saw it wasn’t just the rain
running down her face. He had caused her so much pain and he had to fix it.
John stepped closer and tucked her soaked hair behind her ear.
“See that’s where you are wrong Marie,” he
lowered his voice as he spoke to the window of her soul. Then he smiled with
one side of his face as he scooped her up into his arms. Her shocked gasped as
he did made him smile even more.
“You and me, will always be,” He said
before his mouth descended on hers. As their lips met, her body tensed
momentarily before she relaxed and kissed him back. Her arms went round his
neck and one hand tangled itself in his hair, as she pulled him closer for a
deeper, fuller kiss.
Marie pulled away from him and for a moment
he was worried she would still turn him down.
“Take me home and get me out of these wet
clothes,” she said as the fire in her eyes ignited something deep within him.

Alana lay on her side with her naked
back exposed from the covers. His eyes
followed the curves of her body from her shoulder slowly down to her side,
where the contours dipped and then rose to outline her hip. Unconsciously he opened the door enough to
walk through and stand at her bedside. His eyes deviated to her lower back
where two dimples sat, one either side of her spine. He had to stop himself from reaching out and
touching her.
Instead his eyes went
back to her hips as he followed her body down her leg and to her toes. Her skin looked like silk and he fought very
hard to control the urge in his trousers.

Flash Fiction Frida - A kiss
Welcome back to Flash Fiction Friday.
Like before I am given a picture and I have to write a little something in just 100 words. I have hit the word count right on the mark (second time this week), so I am over the moon. It is a bit harder than it looks. Anyway, this is the picture:

Yeah I was a bit lot for inspiration on this one too, but this is what I came up with. I hope you like it.
I love people watching and the park is
one of the best places to go for this. Parents playing with their children, old
couples holding hands, lovers steeling a moment. That’s when I spotted this odd
couple. A well dressed woman in a white mini dress. Her hair was dark and short
and she looked like money. The guy next to her was much rougher looking. Worn jeans
and a tank top. His hair dark with grease and slicked back behind his ears. He
said something and then they kissed. Her tongue on show as she offered it to
him.
Please leave a comment, I love hearing your views. Don't forget to stop by all the other authors participating this week, just follow the link:

Tantalising Tuesday - Feet
Hello and welcome back to Tantalising Tuesday.
I have another picture, this time it was selected by my dear friend Doris O'Connor. The picture was on Facebook and the original source is unknown. This is the picture she chose for me:
I have another picture, this time it was selected by my dear friend Doris O'Connor. The picture was on Facebook and the original source is unknown. This is the picture she chose for me:
The water
sloshed against the side of the bath with each thrust he made, pushing deeper
inside her. Each movement was slow and deep as their bodies entwined in the tub.
Pressure built up fast and she arched backwards, her hair dipped into the water
as a groan escaped her mouth. He knew her signs well and began to speed up,
rocking onto her between each thrust.
“Oh lord
Jesus,” she cried as she opened her legs as wide as the restricting bath would
enable her to. Her hands gripped his arse pulling him into her faster. She knew
she was so close. The heat running through her veins warmed her from the inside
and travelled right down to her clit. Her breath became short and desperate.
“Faster,”
she gasped and he met her need. He nipped at her neck and sent her straight
over the edge. She came hard and he followed until they were both left
breathless and tingling with the strength of their orgasm. They kissed slowly
as they tried to catch their breath.
After a few
moments they shifted their bodies to face each other, with their feet rested
on the edge by the taps.
“Happy
Anniversary.”
I am also proud to say that I actually stuck to the 200 words this time :-)
